Customers nominate
Tell us about an independent local business you would gladly recommend, and what they did well.
Presented by Alto Hearing
Championing independent local businesses people trust, return to and recommend.
Customers know when a business looks after people properly. The Customer Voice Awards give that praise somewhere to go.
Recommended by customers. Recognised by Alto Hearing.
Why the awards exist
Every town has independent businesses people rely on. The café that knows where someone likes to sit. The shop that takes time to explain. The salon that makes people feel welcome. The adviser who calls back when they said they would. The local team that treats people with patience, courtesy and care.
These businesses often build their reputation quietly: through word of mouth, return visits and customers who bring someone else through the door.
The Customer Voice Awards were created by Alto Hearing to recognise that kind of service. Each quarter, customers can nominate independent local businesses across the communities Alto Hearing serves. Winners receive a certificate, window sticker, digital badge and profile on the awards website.
Good care deserves to be seen in the local businesses that make towns, villages and high streets feel personal.
The idea
The awards recognise independent local businesses through customer recommendation: the places people trust, return to and tell others about.

Nominate
Tell us about an independent business that looks after people well.
Independent businesses in the areas listed below can be put forward by customers, clients, staff members or local residents. They do not need to be Alto Hearing customers.
The most useful nominations describe a real moment: a warm welcome, clear advice, patient follow-up or the detail that made you recommend the business to someone else.
Nominations are reviewed each season. If a business is shortlisted or selected, Alto Hearing may contact you for a little more detail.
Award areas
The awards run each quarter in these areas. Over time, each place will build a record of independent businesses recommended by local people.
